At present, the maximum use temperature of mainstream batteries is generally below 60 ° C, so the vehicle is required to provide strong thermal management capabilities.

Professional testers said that the battery temperature is 38.5 degrees Celsius to start charging, and then the battery temperature gradually rises to 40 degrees Celsius, under the strong thermal management ability, the battery temperature finally drops to 37.5 degrees Celsius.

At present, most of China's new energy vehicles have a thermal management system for the battery, which means that when the temperature rises to a certain value, the battery will automatically cool the battery cell through the liquid cooling system, and will not let the power battery cell temperature break the critical value.

Specifically, the battery thermal management system is the main function of the battery management system, including cooling, heating and temperature balancing functions. Cooling and heating are adjusted accordingly to the possible impact of the external ambient temperature on the battery.

Temperature equalization is used to reduce the temperature difference within the battery pack and prevent the rapid decay caused by overheating of a certain part of the battery. Through the heat conduction medium, the measurement and control unit and the temperature control equipment constitute a closed-loop regulation system, so that the power battery works within the appropriate temperature range, in order to maintain its best use state, to ensure the performance and life of the battery system.

Although the cooling system of new energy vehicles is doing very well, for the uncontrollable factors brought about by high temperature, whale charging in this suggestion, new energy vehicles should do the following points in high temperature charging:

① When charging in summer, do not use air conditioning, the use of air conditioning during the charging process will increase the failure rate of the battery and high voltage electronic control.

② Vehicles driving for a long time try to turn off the engine and rest for a period of time before charging. Since the temperature of the vehicle motor and battery is very high after a long time of driving, charging without reducing its temperature will increase the charging time.

③ High temperature will accelerate the aging of the car line, bringing potential dangers, so try to choose the charging pile in the underground parking lot, or a cool place, to help extend the life of the power battery.
